2025 is the year automotive content blows up in Kenya – and I’m glad. We’ve taken in too much lifestyle content – a smoke screen of what goes on behind the scenes. Forgive me for being callous, but for once, automotive aficionados can enjoy content from people who know what they are doing. To kick start this amazing year, an automotive YouTuber duo (TheHulks254) has decided to set the bar higher with the first-ever motor giveaway! It might not be a car, but it still runs a combustion engine – and it’s a great way to start a biking journey.
I’ve followed The Hulks channel for some time – ever since they got their classic 36-year-old Corolla. And so far, it’s been a DIY journey to get the car back into its original version – but not without a cosmetic touch.
The channel, run by a popular face in Kenya’s entertainment scene, Jackson Mutinda (award-winning actor), and his adorable sidekick fitness coach, Annette Sana (wifey), just set the pace for other automotive content creators by initiating a sports bike giveaway – a 2nd-gen Hero Karizma ZMR.

For those who don’t know, the Hero Karizma ZMR is an air-cooled 223 cc 4-stroke single-cylinder entry-level sports bike capable of 20 HP and 19.7 Nm of torque at 8,000 RPMs.
“I’ll call it the ideal commuter bike. It gives you 40km/l. With one liter, you can go to and fro work with less than KES 200,” Jack explained on the unveiling video.
While the giveaway specifics are still underway, Jack mentioned in his latest YouTube post that a single entry would be as low as KES 1,000 – a bargain for the lucky winner. According to the YouTuber, he plans to restore the bike to perfection before the raffle kicks in.

He’s also keen to make sure that the entire process is within the law – if you’ve been active on the Kenyan social media scene, a well-known car dealer almost got into problems when the tax man came asking questions after a car giveaway.
